[origin: EP1543923A1] The grinding disc has at least two layers (16, 17) of bonded grinding particles (11) each strengthened on each side towards the centre axis (6) by reinforcements (19, 14,18). Between the adjoining layers is an annular dividing layer (20) extending up close to the outer circumference (9) and having an outer diameter , inner diameter and thickness which separates the adjoining layers from each other but supports same relative to each other towards the centre axis. The dividing layer can itself consists of two adjoining intermediate layers.
