Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1543962A1] A printing form carrier (12) consists of a self-supporting runner supported on washers (14) and made from a carbon fiber compound material. The washers are designed to be fixed on an intaglio engraving printing machine's carrier rod with mechanical or hydraulic clamping devices so that there is a radial gap between the carrier rod and the self-supporting runner.
