Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1543987A1] The printing blanket has a rigid elastic support plate (3) with an elastic layer (2) on the surface. At least one end (4) of the elastic layer has a sealing geometry (6) to provide a larger surface for the sealer (5) compared with a smooth planar surface at the end of the covering layer. At least one woven layer and compressible layer is provided between the cover layer and rigid elastic support plate. The sealing geometry can be zig-zagged.
