Abstract (en)
The barrier has an upright (1), an arm (9) with drive (7), a pivot joint about which the arm is pivoted during forced opening, a device e.g. a spring (13), to generate a force to be overcome during forced opening, and a drive for automatic return of the arm into original position. The upright consists of two parts, pivoted relative to each other about a vertical axis to define the pivot joint. The barrier arm is fastened pivoted to one part (2), and the second part (3) forms a foot to support and anchor the upright in the ground. The upright parts consist of two overlapping tubes with different diameters. The arm drive is fastened to the top barrier part, and this is the inner tube. The drive for automatic return of the arm is a spring, a motor, and/or a pneumatic/hydraulic device. The barrier also has a device to detect a vehicle and/or a person to prevent automatic return of the arm.
