An elongated baseplate (1) is fastened to a door leaf and there is a latch mechanism which may be released by pushing on a bar (6). Diagonal swing links (5) with pivots on the ends connect the push-bar to the baseplate. The push-bar has a U-shaped cross-section with sides (7) extending toward the baseplate. The inner ends of the diagonal swing links pivot on brackets (4) on the baseplate. The baseplate has a U-shaped cross-section with outward-extending sides (2). Bearings on the diagonal links carry intermediate bars with outward-extending sides (8) sides covering the gap between the push-bar and base.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Betätigen eines Paniktürverschlusses mit einer U-förmigen Grundstange, daran schwenkbar gelagerten Führungshebeln für eine U-förmige Druckstange, deren U-Schenkel zwischen die U-Schenkel der Grundstange einfassen, und mit einer an der Grundstange verschieblich gelagerten, mit einem Paniktürschloß verbindbaren Betätigungsstange, die von den Führungshebeln gegen Federwirkung verschiebbar ist. Um den Betätigungshub der Druckstange zu vergrößern und dadurch ein leichteres Öffnen des Paniktürschlosses zu erreichen, sollen zwischen den U-Schenkeln der Druckstange und den U-Schenkeln der Grundstange jeweils an den Führungshebeln gelagerte Abdeckstangen angeordnet sein. <IMAGE>
