A pipe ventilator unit regulates the passage of air or other gas through a pipe. The ventilator has a motor mounted within the pipe from which it is separated by a teardop housing. The motor drives a ventilator fan which has a central disc with radially arranged blades. The resulting air flow is guided by a series of vanes (42).

Ein Rohrventilator (10) für gasförmige Medien weist ein Diagonallaufrad (40) mit mehreren Schaufeln (54) und eine sich abströmseitig an das Diagonallaufrad (40) anschließende Leiteinrichtung (42) zur Druckerhöhung des Mediums auf. Die Schaufeln (54) des Diagonallaufrades (40) sind an einer Tragscheibe (50) und an einer Deckscheibe (56) befestigt. An das Diagonallaufrad (40) schließt sich in axialer Richtung (22.1) die Leiteinrichtung (42) an. <IMAGE>
