[origin: WO03097874A1] The invention relates to a method for parallel preparation of RNA and proteins from a tissue sample. The method is characterized in that the tissue sample is transferred after resection into a preparation solution comprising RNAlater(TM) in a concentration ranging from 40g/100ml to 100g/100ml, the tissue sample is mechanically decomposed, the epiothelial cells are immunologically separated using antibodies specifically binding to the surface proteins of the epithelial cells and RNA and proteins are extracted from the epithelial cells using conventional techniques.
