[origin: WO2004031558A1] The invention relates to a cover for a chamber of a housing (2) of an appliance, said cover comprising an approximately plate-type carrier (9) carrying a network of conductors which is embodied as a pressed screen (6) and provided with a sensor (16). A plug receiving element (10) for an appliance plug for contacting the network of conductors is provided on the carrier (9). The pressed screen (6) is supported on the plate-type carrier (9), held by fixing elements, and covered by a cover (17) connected to the carrier (9) on the peripheral edge thereof.
