[origin: EP1547930A1] The turn-lock cap for the opening and closing of containers has one or more retaining ribs (19) of plastic for the complete separation of one or more protruding plastic parts. The turn-lock cap consists of an upper section provided with a cutting device and a lower section (3) provided with the protruding plastic parts. The retaining ribs are on the lower side of the protruding plastic parts, and during opening the cutting edge of the cutting device wedges into the retaining ribs which during the rotational movement of the cutting edge cut off the protruding parts from the lower section.
