[origin: EP1547961A1] The lift drive has an electric motor (12), a drive disk (14), a braking device and other components. The brake disk (16) of the braking device is fixed rotationally to the drive disk. The drive disk axis has its axis of rotation parallel to that of the electric motor shaft (15). These two components carry countergears (18, 20).
