The post and rail fascia system has a number of vertical posts (1) between which horizontal rails (1a) extend, both the posts and the rails provided as support profiles to which fixing profiles for insulation glass fascia panels are attached. A reinforcement (4,5) for fixing the rail is provided at each intersection between the rail and a post. An independent claim for an expandible clamp element used between 2 interfitting parts is also included.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Pfosten-Riegel-Fassade, bei welcher senkrechte verlaufende Pfosten (1) durch im Wesentlichen waagrecht verlaufende Riegel (1a) verbunden sind. Pfosten und Riegel sind als Tragprofile ausgebildet. Die Tragprofile tragen Befestigungsprofile für das Befestigen von Fassadenelementen. Im Knotenpunkt von Pfosten (1) und Riegel (1a) ist eine den Riegel verbindungsfixierende, festlegende Aussteifung (4,5,10) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
