Disclosed is a method of reducing damage, or the risk of damage, to a vehicle, comprising the steps of using monitoring means (6) to monitor one or more elements of vehicle usage associated with damage, or the risk of damage, to the vehicle or components thereof; and providing feedback (8) to a user of the vehicle, calculated from one or more elements of vehicle usage monitored by the monitoring means and associated with damage, or the risk of damage, to the vehicle or components thereof.
