[origin: DE10244236A1] The protector is assembled of an outer part (2) provided with a multitude of narrow transversally positioned bridges (24) and a rounded outer end (21) and an inner part (3) with transversal projections (33) engaging with the spaces between the bridges (24) when both parts (2, 3) are joined. At least one inner (3) and one outer part (2) can be simultaneously injection molded and cut to the appropriate length for the particular finger.
