Abstract (en)

[origin: EP1550510A2] Guiding device comprises a base plate (3) with a recess (12) arranged in the region of the inlet opening (16). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) Immersion pipe for a guiding device of a cyclone; and (2) Cyclone containing the guiding device. Preferred Features: Two or more baffles (2) and a corresponding number of recesses are provided in the base plate in the region of the inlet openings (16) formed between the baffles. A section of the contour of the recesses is formed in the base plate by an inlet edge lying parallel to the baffle. The guiding device has a cylindrical wall (1) to which a section of a baffle is connected.
