Abstract (en)

Fabrication of cast light alloy components consists of: (a) filling a mould with a molten light alloy; (b) taking the solidified component out of the mould; (c) submitting the component to a pressing or forging between the two imprints of a die, cold or at ambient temperature; (d) the pressing is realised with a die of which the dimensions are essentially the same as those of the mould imprint, the pressing being effected without generating any burrs necessitating an ulterior stage of be-burring.

Procédé pour fabriquer des pièces coulées, réalisées en un alliage léger, consistant : à remplir un moule avec un alliage léger à l'état liquide, à démouler la pièce après solidification et à soumettre la pièce à un pressage ou forgeage entre les deux empreintes d'une matrice, à froid ou à température ambiante, caractérisé en ce que le pressage est réalisé avec une matrice dont les dimensions sont sensiblement égales à celles de l'empreinte du moule, le pressage étant effectué sans générer de bavures nécessitant une étape ultérieure d'ébavurage. <IMAGE>
