Abstract (en)

The monitoring procedure, for use on a loom on which the weft yarn is delivered by a feed drum (15) with an acceleration/deceleration compensator (27), includes a stage in which a first electrical actuator (17) of the drum is controlled by a signal representing the functioning of a second electrical actuator (22) driving the mobile member (20, 21) of the compensator. The second actuator is in the form of an electric servomotor controlled to give a constant torque, and the angular position of the drum is controlled so that the yarn tension after the yarn feeder (16) and compensator meet a predetermined value.

Dans ce procédé, un fil de trame (3) est soumis au moins à l'action d'un donneur de trame (16) à tambour (15) et d'un dispositif de compensation (27) de ses accélérations/décélérations qui comprend un organe mobile (20, 21) définissant la trajectoire du fil. Une étape consiste à commander (S1) la position angulaire du tambour (15) du donneur de trame (16) en fonction de la position (θ) de l'organe mobile (20, 21). Le dispositif comprend, entre autres, des moyens (25, 26) de mesure de la position (θ) de l'organe mobile, ces moyens pouvant commander (S1, 18) un actionneur électrique (17) d'entraînement en rotation du tambour (15). <IMAGE>
