Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1544380A2] The spacer tube (1) for the guiding of stressing bars during the erection of large area shuttering for concrete constructions comprises a generally cylindrical guide tube (3) with end pieces (5) installed on its two ends. The connections between the end pieces and ends of the guide tube are constructed as a predetermined breaking points (13) which during shuttering, stripping or after stripping of the construction are broken from the ends of the guide tube. The predetermined breaking points break following tension or pressure on the end pieces and/or through tension on the end pieces and/or by rotation of the end pieces.
