[origin: WO2004009218A1] The invention relates to a method and a device for drying a gas flow, in particular for a bulk material dryer. Said device comprises at least two desiccant wells (20, 21), temperature sensors (27, 28), guide elements (29, 30) and gas conduction conduits (17). According to the invention, each desiccant well (20, 21) has one inlet (25), one outlet (26), one heating device (22, 23) and one desiccant (24), whereby the latter (24) is located between the inlet (25) and the outlet (26). The heating device (22, 23) is designed to heat the gas flow, the temperature sensors (27, 28) are provided for detecting the temperature of the gas flow, the guide element (29, 30) is provided for guiding the gas flow and the gas conduction conduits (17) are connected to the desiccant wells (20, 21) by means of a circuit. The device is provided with a single fan (19), which is connected to the desiccant wells (20, 21) by means of the circuit. The guide element (29, 30) is located downstream of the desiccant wells (20, 21) in the gas flow direction and the guide element (29, 30) is connected to the temperature sensors (27, 28) by means of the circuit.
