[origin: WO2004035313A1] The invention relates to a drier for drying a web of material (07), comprising a passage duct (08) for the web of material. Drying takes place inside said passage duct (08) which is provided with at least one straight section. Said drier is disposed on a printing group (21) having vertical web guidance while the passage duct thereof comprises at least one straight section which horizontally directs a web of material delivered by the printing group. The passage duct encompasses at least two (36, 37) sections through which the web of material runs in opposite directions.
