Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004026707A1] The invention relates to a method for opening a container (1) for dispensing a liquid, viscous or pasty product through a cannula (2) attached to the cap (4) of the container (1), which is initially blocked and then opened or perforated in order to release the liquid. The invention is characterized in that a peripheral weakening line (6) is provided in the cap (4) that is made of a breakable material, said line defining the height of the cap (4) into two parts (9, 10), wherein the upper part (9) has means for attachment to the base (3) of the cannula (2), the cannula is bent and then serves as lever for breaking the upper part (9) along the weakening line (6), said upper part (9) of the cap (3) then being extracted from the base and said base (3) being finally placed on the lower part (10) of the cap (4). The invention also relates to a container having means for implementing said method.
