[origin: FR2845731A1] The turbocharger comprises a blade holder ring (22) on which the pivoting blades (24) are inserted. There is an annular surface (30) parallel to the blade holder ring. Spacers (34) hold the ring at a distance from the annular surface, a nominal operational play (e) being formed between the surface and the blades in the closed position. The annular surface comprises, along its outer peripheral edge, an annular indentation (40) such that, when the blades are in the open position, their rear end is opposite the indentation and makes with an increased operating play (E) greater than the normal play.
