[origin: WO2004033891A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection device (22) for an internal combustion engine, comprising a housing (30, 32). Said housing comprises a cavity (34) containing two valve elements (36, 40) which are arranged in a coaxial manner in relation to each other. Said elements cooperate with a corresponding valve seat (38, 42). The valve elements (36, 40) are associated with corresponding fuel outlets (52, 54). The aim of the invention is to produce said fuel injection device (22) with a compact structure. As a result, a common valve device (56) is provided, comprising at least three switch positions in order to influence the position of the valve elements (36, 40).
