Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004033893A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection device comprising a pressure intensifier (30) which is arranged between a high-pressure accumulator chamber (8) and a jet chamber (48). The high-pressure chamber (34) is connected by a pressure line (39, 49) to a control chamber (41) actuating an injection valve member (44) of a fuel injector (40) and to the jet chamber (48). A compensation device (9) is arranged in a high-pressure line (8, 27) between the high-pressure storage chamber (7) and the fuel injector (40). Said compensation device produces a throttled connection (19) or a non-throttled connection (21) between the high-pressure storage chamber (7) and the fuel injector (40).
