[origin: WO2004025178A1] Disclosed is a burner (12) comprising a burner nozzle (14) that is disposed on a front side of a combustion chamber (16), a combustion chamber pipe (18) which encloses the combustion chamber (16), and a combustion chamber front wall (20) which delimits the combustion chamber (16) towards the burner nozzle (14). In order to resolve particularly problems regarding sealing of the combustion chamber (16) and thermal decoupling of heat-sensitive components of a heating device (10) relative to the burner (12), the burner nozzle (14) is mounted exclusively on the combustion chamber front wall (20), the combustion chamber pipe (18) is mounted exclusively on an outer pipe (40) at the final section (38) that is located opposite the combustion chamber front wall (20), and an air-permeable annular gap (42) is embodied between the combustion chamber front wall (20) and the outer pipe (40).
