Vacuum cleaner (1) comprises a housing, a protective strip (8), and a suction hose (7). The protective strip is made of an elastic material and is placed on the upper and/or lower side of the vacuum cleaner. At least one object, especially the suction hose, can be fixed between the upper and/or lower side of the vacuum cleaner and the protective strip. Preferred Features: The protective strip consists of an inner side made of elastic plastic or rubber and an outer side with a textile coating.

Ein Staubsauger, insbesondere ein Bodenstaubsauger (1), mit einem Gehäuse und einer wenigstens teilweise die Längsseiten und/oder die Schmalseiten des Staubsaugers umgebenden und ein Oberteil (4) und ein Unterteil (2) des Staubsaugers miteinander verbindenden Stoßleiste (8) und mit einem Saugschlauch (7) ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Stoßleiste (8) aus einem elastischen Material besteht und an die Ober- und/oder Unterseite (4,2) des Staubsaugers (1) anlegbar ist und dass wenigstens ein Gegenstand, insbesondere der Saugschlauch (7), zwischen der Ober- bzw. Unterseite (4,2) des Staubsaugers (1) und der an der Oberseite bzw. der Unterseite (4,2) angelegten Stoßleiste (8) fixierbar ist. <IMAGE>
