[origin: WO2004039587A1] The invention relates to a method for dispensing a medium supplied at the level of a rotatable body by a dispenser, in particular a spray dampener. Said spray dampener comprises at least one spraying nozzle which applies a humidifying agent and roller receiving said agent. A spraying frequency of the spraying nozzle is adjusted with respect to the rotation frequency of the roller receiving the humidifying agent in such a way that it makes possible to avoid the superposition of the humidifying agent at least for a defined number of rotations of the roller receiving said agent.
