[origin: WO2004038078A2] The invention concerns a nonwoven material with elastic properties in one direction. Said material comprises either a multilayer composite, whereof one layer at least has elastic polymer fibers or filaments, or a homogeneous mixture of fibers and filament, whereof part of the fibers is made of elastic polymer, a greater proportion of the fibers or filaments being oriented by heat input in a direction transverse to the direction of elasticity of the nonwoven material. The invention also concerns a method for producing said nonwoven material and a device for implementing said method.
