Said retaining element (1) comprises a first retaining area (3), in particular, for fastening the retaining element (1) to a fastening element (4) and comprises at least one second retaining element (5), in particular, for fastening the retaining element (1) to the product (2). The second retaining area (5) is designed so that it can be deformed more easily than the first retaining area (3) whereby enabling the retaining element (1) to be optimally adapted to the shape of the product (2). In addition, the retaining element (1) can be placed on the product (2) by means of a double-sided adhesive tape. This adhesive tape is designed so that it can be stretched.
