[origin: EP1555343A1] On each side of the covering (7), levers (9, 20) swing up rollers (3, 4) which change the web direction. These swing between an operational position and a position for changing the covering. The change position permits the covering to be introduced nearly horizontally into the paper machine. The roller (3) is a tensioning roller. Following relaxation of tension, with the roller in its end position, it is connected by its bearing casings with levers (9) on each side of the covering. Levers (20) on each side of the covering are connected by a spray protection casing (27). This, together with cleaning spray pipes (28, 29) and roller (4), can be swung into the change-over position by levers (20) on each side of the covering. The levers are connected to lifting units (10, 22), e.g. hydraulic cylinders or electric jacks.
