[origin: EP1555368A1] The window assembly (1) has a fixed frame (2) with a glass pane (3), with upper (2.2) and lower (2.1) horizontal rails. There is a guide rail (10) along the bottom of the fixed frame to accommodate carriages (8) supporting the bottom edge of the moving window frame (5). The window frame may tilt on bearings (12) and has swing links (11) on which the bottom edge of the window may swing outward. There are corresponding links at the top. There is a handgrip (7) on one side of the window frame.
