The section has two parts made from different material. A connection part (40, 41) is made from a third material for connecting the two parts together so that the composite section covers a first length in a longitudinal direction. The two profile parts are also connected to a partial connecting part. The partial connecting part allows other parts to connect to it. Recesses form closure elements and made from hardened connecting mass (50).

Es wird ein Verbundprofil, insbesondere für Fenster-, Türen- und Fassadenelemente angegeben, bei dem ein erstes Profilteil (20) und ein zweites Profilteil (30) durch ein als Verbindungsteil (40) ausgebildetes Isolierelement verbunden sind, wobei die Verbindung der Isolierteile mit dem Verbindungsteil durch einen Formschluß zwischen ersten und zweiten Halteelementen und einer ausgehärteten Verbindungsmasse (50) erfolgt. <IMAGE>
