The device has several plates made from glass for locking onto a roof or wall of a building surface. The plates are held inside the building and can implement a lagging from the surface and a shifting movement along the plates. A first adjustment mechanism is provided which steers the lagging without the shifting movement taking place and at the same time a second adjustment mechanism is steers the shifting movement without the lagging.

Eine Lamellenvorrichtung hat mehrere Lamellen (1.1 bis 1.9), welche von einer Innenseite des Gebäudes her gehalten sind. Die Lamellenvorrichtung definiert zum Beispiel eine als Dach oder Wand eines Gebäudes dienende Fläche. Ein erster Verstellmechanismus steuert die Schwenkbewegung, ohne dass gleichzeitig die Verschiebebewegung erfolgt, und ein zweiter Verstellmechanismus steuert die Verschiebebewegung, ohne dass gleichzeitig die Schwenkbewegung bewirkt wird. Der Verstellmechanismus für die Schwenkbewegung umfasst vorzugsweise eine Rollenführung (18.1, 18.2, 22.9). Der Verstellmechanismus für die Verschiebebewegung umfasst eine Kette (12) welche an der untersten Lamelle (1.1) angreift. Beim hochziehen der untersten Lamelle werden die übrigen Lamellen sukzessive aufgesammelt. <IMAGE>
