[origin: EP1555436A2] The pump has a shifting unit changing the delivery between two pressure chambers where a second pressure chamber has a shifting unit having compression spring. The first pressure chamber (10) is connected by a regulating valve (12) and second pressure chamber (11) has a pressure converter (13) connected with the first pressure chamber. The pressure chamber has a maximum pressure-limit defined by a relief valve which is connected with the suction face (E) of the gear pump.
