Abstract (en)
The claimed process of applying a decoration to a device, especially a winter sports apparatus, wherein the decoration comprises at least two layers and wherein each layer comprises at least one color agent, is characterized in that it comprises the steps of: (-) providing a basic layer carrying the decoration, wherein the decoration is configured suchlike to withstand heated press cycles of temperatures of greater than 120 DEG C, preferably of greater than 140 DEG C, most preferably greater than 160 DEG C; and pressures of more than 2 bar, preferably more than 10 bar, most preferably more than 15 bar; (-) attaching the decorated basic layer to the device; and (-) applying an outer protective sheet and/or a protective-lacquer or -varnish to the basic layer, facing outwards of the device, wherein the protective sheet is at least partially transparent in the area of the decoration. The invention further allows for easy and cost-efficient production and supply of semi-finished products. <IMAGE>
