Abstract (en)
The device has a caster (50) spacing unit with an electric motor (521), and a pusher displacement unit (62) with an electric motor (621) that is operated independent of the motor (521). A spiral spring is divided into several turns. A digital unit (70) includes an interface (71) for defining characteristics of the turns of the spiral spring, and independently controls operations of the spacing unit and the displacement unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a spiral spring for a mattress.

L'invention concerne un dispositif de fabrication de ressorts en spirales pour matelas à partir d'un fil métallique (1), ce dispositif comprenant des moyens (30) pour entraîner le fil (1) longitudinalement, un canon (40), une roulette (50), des moyens (52) pour faire varier l'écartement entre le canon (40) et la roulette (50), un poussoir (60), des moyens (62) pour déplacer transversalement le poussoir (60), le fil sortant du canon (40) venant buter sur la roulette (50) et se conformant en une spire qui défile devant le poussoir (60), le rayon de la spire étant fonction de l'écartement entre la roulette (50) et le canon (40) et son pas de la position transversale du poussoir (60). Selon l'invention, les moyens (52) d'écartement de la roulette (50) comprennent un organe moteur d'écartement (521), et les moyens (62) de déplacement du poussoir (60) comprennent un organe moteur de déplacement (621) indépendant de l'organe moteur d'écartement (521). <IMAGE>
