[origin: EP1557280A2] The print method comprises providing a print machine (1) having a print mechanism which can generate a large number of colors using a CMYK process of mixing standard basic colors cyan, magenta, yellow and black. One of the basic colors is then removed from the print mechanism and, in its place, a special color, different from all the basic colors is inserted. A print page provided in electronic form is then generated. The print result is then printed by printing a print medium with at least the remaining basic colors and the special color, whereby the removed basic color is not used. Independent claims also cover the print result and the use of a print machine operating according to the method.
