[origin: EP1557494A1] The device has a ploughshare (2) for removing snow from the ground and an upper part (3) for deflecting the flow of the snow, whereby the ploughshare joins below the upper part and has at least one hinged element (4) mounted on the upper part so that it turns from a positive resting point about a contact point when coming into contact with an obstruction. The hinged element is mounted so that it is forcibly raised simultaneously and before it reaches a negative position so as to jump over the obstruction.
