The door has a pivotably mounted door panel (2) with a pivot axle (4) on one side edge, whereby the door panel interacts with a holding device (5) that normally holds it in the open position and thereby divides the escape route (1), which has a floor (33), walls and a ceiling (6), into two spaces (7,8). The pivot axle is horizontal near the ceiling and the door panel is positioned plane parallel to the ceiling by the holding device in the normal situation.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Schutztür für einen Rettungsweg (1), umfassend ein schwenkbar gelagertes Türblatt (2) mit einer an dessen einen Seitenrand (3) vorgesehenen Schwenkachse (4), wobei das Türblatt (2) mit einer Feststellvorrichtung (5) wirkverbunden ist, die dieses im Regelfall in Öffnungsposition hält oder im Brandfall in Verschlussposition bringt und dabei den einen Boden, Wände (9) und eine Decke (6) aufweisenden Rettungsweg (1) in zwei Räume (7, 8) aufteilt. Nach der Erfindung ist vorgesehen, dass die Schwenkachse (4) horizontal verlaufend nahe der Decke (6) angeordnet und das Türblatt (2) im Regelfall mittels der Feststellvorrichtung (5) planparallel zur Decke (6) positioniert ist. <IMAGE>
