The heat exchanger, and especially the condenser in a vehicle air conditioning system, is a block with flat tubes (12), flat tube ends and ribs. Collection tubes (5) are at the side of the block with passages to take the flat tube ends and dividing walls (7) to form chambers. At least one collection tube is in one piece, and at least one dividing wall is formed by an extension of a flat tube end, which fills the tube cross section. The flat tubes have a number of flow channels (12i), and their narrow sides (12a,12b) fit into the flat side zones (13,14) of the collection tubes.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Wärmeübertrager, insbesondere Kondensator (1) einer Klimaanlage für Kraftfahrzeuge, bestehend aus einem Block (2) mit Flachrohren (3), Flachrohrenden und Rippen (4) sowie seitlich des Blockes angeordneten Sammelrohren (5,6), welche Durchzüge (10) zur Aufnahme der Flachrohrenden und Trennwände (6) zur Bildung von Kammern aufweisen. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass mindestens ein Sammelrohr (5,6) einstückig ausgebildet und mindestens eine Trennwand (6) durch eine Verlängerung eines Flachrohrendes (11) gebildet ist, welche den Querschnitt des Sammelrohres (5,6) ausfüllt. <IMAGE>
