Abstract (en)
The generator or projector has an ignition system comprising converters supplying two electrodes to generate electric arc between the electrodes that are spaced from each other. The system simultaneously generates another electric arc at the side of the former electric arc during the emission of a spray obtained from liquid hydrocarbon. Each electric arc is supplied independently by its own converter. An independent claim is also included for utilization of a flame generator or projector for the production of flames of large length for a show.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d'allumage sécurisé (3) pour un générateur (1) de flammes pour le spectacle comportant au moins un moyen de projection (4) de combustible, ledit dispositif d'allumage sécurisé (3) comportant une paire d'électrodes (5a) reliées à au moins un moyen d'alimentation électrique pour générer au moins un premier arc électrique apte à enflammer un jet de combustible projeté par ledit moyen de projection (4) à proximité desdites électrodes. Selon l'invention, ledit dispositif d'allumage comporte au moins une deuxième paire d'électrodes (5b) reliées au(x) dit(s) moyen(s) d'alimentation électrique et apte à générer au moins un deuxième arc électrique, de manière simultanée ou non au dit premier arc électrique, pour enflammer ledit jet de combustible, lesdites paires d'électrodes étant installées sur un châssis (2) et reliées en outre de façon étanche au(x) dit(s) moyen(s) d'alimentation électrique. <IMAGE>
