[origin: WO03086512A1] The invention relates to a device for the dosed administration of an injectable product, comprising a housing (1,10) provided with a reservoir (2) for the product, a piston (3) which displaces the product, which is contained in the reservoir (2) to the reservoir outlet (4) when displacement occurs in a direction of advancement, a drive mechanism (6) which can be displaced along an axis of displacement (V) in a direction of advancement until a proximal end position and in the opposite direction until a distal end position, a driven element (5) which is blocked against displacement counter to the direction of advancement and is driven by the drive mechanism (6) when a displacement of the drive mechanism (6) occurs in the direction of advancement and the piston (3) is pushed in the direction of advancement, whereby said driven element (5) is embodied as a circular threaded rod in the cross-section thereof.
