Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2004039440A1] The invention relates to a method for the display and dosing of a product for administration from a reservoir, by means of a dosing device and a display unit, whereby on setting a particular dose, the dosing device is displaced along a dosing path (1a; 1b; 3a, 3a'; 3b, 3b') in a dosing direction starting from an initial position (NPabs; A). A reference point (NPrel) is determined from an initial position of the dosing device for a first dose for administration or a position of the dosing device after administration of a dose. A dosage setting is displayed by the display unit as a dose value depending on the path (3b') executed by the dosing device from the reference point (NPrel) in the dosing direction.
