Abstract (en)
The process and device prepares filter tow strip (2) for the tobacco processing industry. The strip, during its journey by rollers (26,27) from stock to finishing machine, is stretched in a stretching device (6) and coating material applied in a coating device (47) in an application device (7). The strip is sprayed with a softening agent such as tricetin, then tightened at one side, blasted with air by a nozzle and fed through a funnel. Tension is released from the strip before or after the material has been applied in a separate stretch or zone (8).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Anordnung zum Aufbereiten eines Streifens aus Filtermaterial (2) für die Tabak verarbeitende Industrie, insbesondere Filtertowstreifen, wobei der Streifen (2) während seiner Förderung von einem Vorrat zu einer Weiterverarbeitungsmaschine in einer Reckeinrichtung (6) gereckt wird und in einer Auftragseinrichtung (47) Auftragsmaterial auf den Streifen (2) aufgebracht wird. Die Anordnung wird dadurch weitergebildet, dass eine Entspannungsstrecke (8) für den Streifen (2) vor und/oder nach der Auftragseinrichtung (7) vorgesehen ist. <IMAGE>
