Rotating tool for a hand-operated tool drive device comprises a disk-shaped base body having a central receiving device for torque-locking connection to the tool drive device, and a number of holding elements (3) arranged along the periphery of the base body. Each holding element holds a working contact element (12) made of a very hard material. The holding elements with the working contact elements are elastically deviated in a direction parallel to that of the base body. The working contact elements are rotatably mounted in the holding elements about an axis of rotation having a direction with a component perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the base body. Preferred Features: The working contact elements have a working region (13) and a wider holding region (14).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein rotierbares Werkzeug (1) einer handgeführten Werkzeug - Antriebsvorrichtung, mit einem scheibenförmigen Grundkörper (2), dessen Drehachse senkrecht zu einer durch den Grundkörper (2) aufgespannten Ebene verläuft, und der ein zentrales Aufnahmemittel (A) zur drehmomentschlüssigen Verbindung mit der Werkzeug - Antriebsvorrichtung aufweist, mit einer Mehrzahl von Halteelementen (3), die in Umfangsrichtung des Grundkörper (2) an diesem verteilt angeordnet sind, wobei in jedem Halteelement (3) ein Arbeitskontaktelement (12) aus einem sehr harten Material gehaltert ist und die Halteelemente (3) mit den Arbeitskontaktelementen (12) in eine Richtung parallel zu der des Grundkörper (2) elastisch auslenkbar sind, wobei die einseitige Abnutzung durch Gebrauch der Arbeitskontaktelemente (12) und die damit verbundene reduzierte Meißelwirkung dadurch vermieden wird, dass die Arbeitskontaktelemente (12) in den Halteelementen (3) drehbar um jeweils eine Drehachse gelagert sind, deren Richtung eine Komponente senkrecht zu der Drehachse des Grundkörper (2) aufweist. <IMAGE>
