[origin: EP1559559A2] Ink cartridge has a housing (12) with at least one ink storage container, a ventilation device (42) on the housing that connects the interior to the surroundings after activation to equalize pressure and a locking device (44) on the housing for locking the cartridge in the holder movable between locking and unlocking positions. The locking device is used simultaneously as an actuation element for activating the ventilation device and comes into interaction with the ventilation device, to activate it when moved into its locking position.
