Abstract (en)
The grinder belt, especially for polishing ceramics, has an underlay (1a,1b) of a polymer film or a woven fabric of mixed fibers with a null bond between their ends. The ends are chamfered away from each other, and the space is filled with fibers (2). The abrasive grinding material (4), e.g. diamonds or boron nitride, is attached to the underlay by a bonding agent (3) of a polymer with a reinforcement of carbon or glass fibers or wires.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Schleifband, umfassend eine Polymer-Folie oder ein Mischfasergewebe als Unterlage, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Unterlageneinheiten (1a, 1b; 8a, 8b) über eine Nullverbindung miteinander verbunden sind. Das erfindungsgemässe Schleifband eignet sich insbesondere zum Polieren von Keramikteilen. <IMAGE>
