[origin: EP1561879A2] The tile (1) of natural or artificial stone has a double slot (2) in one of the side edges, with a first slot section (2a) extending inside the tile plane, and a second slot section (2b) perpendicular to the tile plane. An anchoring member (3) is formed in the region of the opposite lying, parallel extending other side edge. The anchoring member has a first section (3a) extending parallel to the tile plane, and a second section (3b) extending perpendicularly to the tile plane, and in its overall cross section corresponding to the overall cross section of the double slot.
