Abstract (en)
A system for improving the regeneration of a depollution device (1) integrated in an exhaust line (2) of a heat engine of an automobile, by alternately operating the engine in lean and rich modes according to various control parameters for engine function, comprises a lambda probe (9) placed in the exhaust gas outlet of the motor, where at least one engine function parameter is controlled to regulate, in a closed loop, the richness of the exhaust gas at a target value when the engine functions in rich mode.

Ce système d'aide à la régénération de moyens de dépollution (1) intégrés dans une ligne d'échappement (2) d'un moteur thermique (3) de véhicule automobile, par basculement du moteur entre un fonctionnement en mode pauvre et un fonctionnement en mode riche, selon des paramètres différents de contrôle du fonctionnement de ce moteur, est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte une sonde Lambda (9) placée au niveau de la sortie des gaz d'échappement du moteur et des moyens de correction d'au moins un paramètre de fonctionnement du moteur (3) pour réguler en boucle fermée, la richesse de ces gaz d'échappement sur une valeur cible quand le moteur fonctionne en mode riche.
