Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1561996A1] The device has an especially metal shut-off flap (22) mounted in a section of pipe (20) to pivot about an essentially orthogonal axis between open and closed positions. The flap is approximately orthogonal to the pipe axis in the closed position and forms a seal with the pipe wall at its periphery. The shut-off flap is prepared with an elastomeric sealing material fixed to it circumference so as to form a sealing arrangement.
