Abstract (en)
[origin: EP1562400A2] Hearing aid has an earpiece (3) which is fitted with a membrane (15). This protects it from contamination by ear wax. Independent claims are included for: (A) a method for making the membrane comprising applying the heated earpiece to a thin sheet of flexible polymer so that the sheet is welded to it; and (B) a method for fitting and removing the membrane.
